artist statement
I investigate the invisible structures that hold us.
Working through geometry, thread ,color and surface, I build quiet visual structures where tension, pressure, silence and containtment beocome visible. My work is built around central axes , zones of convergence and material interventions that suggest an internal architecture beneath the surface.
Thread functions as a physical line: it connects, tensions, crosses and records a relationship between forces. Geometry organizes pressure. The center becomes a place of concentration rather than resolution.
Working between image , object, and relief my process is intuitive and material: thread wound by hand, translucent surfaces, layered fields of color and structural elements that hold weight and tension.
Structure is not the opposite of feeling. It is its form.
